Join us as we celebrate National Diabetes Awareness Month this November, starting with T1Day on November 1st.
Inaugurated by JDRF on November 1, 2011 (11-1-11), T1Day is an occasion to use our collective voice to reach as many people around the world as we can, to raise awareness about T1D and celebrate the lives of those who live with T1D and those who love them.
And on the heels of T1Day, we will celebrate World Diabetes Day on November
14, the anniversary of insulin discoverer Frederick Banting’s birth. We hope to light local buildings in blue for World Diabetes.
Many local schools and businesses will GO BLUE for JDRF by offering their employees and students the opportunity to wear jeans in exchange for a domination to JDRF!
